Curtain up on Angkor Wat

Cambodia's most famous tourist attraction will provide the backdrop to a theatrical

performance entitled The Legend of Angkor Wat, organized by Bayon CM. According to

a press release, the show is "inspired by the rediscovery of Angkor" by

the French naturalist Alexandre Henri Mouhot. The performance promises to "highlight...the

richness of Khmer culture and what present day Cambodia has to offer" and as

such will feature traditional Khmer music and Apsara-inspired dancing. It is scheduled

to run from November 24 to January 20.
