DJ Soup still in hot water over drug case

THE verdict in a drug trafficking case involving 45-year-old Cambodian-American Sophorn Horl, also known as DJ Soup, was delayed yesterday in Phnom Penh Municipal Court due to the need for further investigation. Presiding Judge Suos Sam Ath said yesterday that the court needed more time to conduct research before the verdict could be issued. He added that DJ Soup, a former host at TV3’s FM 103 radio station in Phnom Penh, and two alleged accomplices were charged with drug trafficking last October.
