A man accused of beating his mother was arrested and sent to provincial court in Banteay Meanchay’s Mongkul Borwy district on Saturday.

On Thursday, the suspect, Eth Chhean, allegedly returned home after drinking and struck his mother, 63, three times with a wooden stick, causing her to fall and hit her head.
