An English tourist drowned in a guesthouse pool in Preah Sihanouk province early yesterday morning after drinking alcohol.
Math Soth, deputy provincial police chief in charge of security, told the Post that English tourist Dillon Ryan Andrew, 38, had arrived in Cambodia on November 13 and visited the beach on Saturday, where he stayed at Utopia, a foreign-owned restaurant and guesthouse.
A doctor’s conclusion was that the man was intoxicated, which contributed to his drowning between midnight and 1am, Math Soth said.
