Four sent to court for trafficking nearly 4kg meth

The Ministry of Interior’s anti-drug department on August 6 sent four suspects to the Phnom Penh Municipal Court arresting them with nearly 4kg of drugs.

The department said these four suspects – all Cambodian nationals – were caught trafficking methamphetamine on August 3 in Krang Thnong commune's Prey Khla village of Sen Sok district.

The department said they were sent to court after questioning.

Interior minister Sar Kheng said on August 6 that drug cases have remarkably dropped as anti-drug police continue their operations despite the Covid-19 pandemic.
