Australian national Tran Van Thanh, 34, was arrested on July 1 in Dalat, Vietnam,

for his alleged involvement in a network smuggling heroin from Cambodia to Australia

via Vietnam, the Vietnam News Agency reported. Police transferred Thanh to Ho Chi

Minh City, where his 42-year-old Vietnamese accomplice was arrested while in possession

of more than 600 grams of heroin on June 29.
