A storm injured at least two women and damaged 41 houses in Kampong Chhnang province’s Cholkiri district on June 26, according to the National Committee for Disaster Management.

Eight houses were completely destroyed, while others lost their roofs or walls, said Keo Vy, a representative of NACD.

Poorly constructed houses in rural areas were easily damaged by even slight storms, he added.
