KRT public affairs director suffers stroke

LONG-TERM professor at the media and communications department at the Royal University of Phnom Penh and director of the public affairs at the Khmer Rouge Tribunal, Reach Sambath, was set to be flown to Bangkok last night after suffering a stroke. Dim Sovannarom, ECCC spokesman, said he fell ill at work on Tuesday at around 5pm and was taken for treatment at Calmette hospital in Phnom Penh. “He is still in a serious condition,” he said.
