Man, 20, accused of rape

A 20-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with allegedly raping a16-year-old girl in Kampong Speu province, police said yesterday. The young man is accused of raping the girl, who his parents reportedly wanted him to marry, on Sunday, Yamm Thol, technical bureau chief of the provincial military police, said yesterday. The suspect, he said, had been charged with raping a minor.  However, the suspect claimed the sex was consensual, he said.
