Tann Sokren, 25, was three when she was taken to an unofficial doctor for injections. Shortly afterwards she developed polio. While she doesn’t blame the clinic, she said she often wonders what would have happened had she gone to a different health centre.

Sébastien Marot, founder and coordinator of streetkids NGO Friends/Mith Samlanh, was made an Honorary Member of the Order of Australia on September 5. Australian Ambassador Louise Hand presented the award, given to non-Australian citizens "whose outstanding services and achievements the Australian Government wishes to acknowledge".
