Authorities stopped more than 1,000 vehicles and reprimanded nearly 3,000 people throughout the country on the night of August 12 for violating the 9pm-3am curfew.

According to the Inter-ministerial Commission to Combat Covid-19, a total of 1,342 vehicles stopped and 2,917 people reprimanded and issued fines totalling 43,1 million riel ($10,580).

The authorities also shut down a business for violating Covid-19 measures.
