The National Authority for Combating Drugs has enlisted the face of glamorous pop

singer and actress Thet Rotha Yuok, 19, in a new campaign against the illicit use

of drugs. The campaign, coinciding with the Water Festival when up to two million

people are expected to flood into Phnom Penh, features a large billboard next to

Hun Sen Park, and another near the Old Stadium, both showing Yuok's face. Half a

million pamphlets featuring Youk, with messages about the dangers of drugs, will

be distributed during the festival.
