A 57-year-old man from Kampong Cham province has been confirmed as the ninth person in Cambodia to contract H5N1 avian influenza. Dr Sok Touch, the director of the Communicable Disease Control Department at the Ministry of Health, said the man “is fine and being monitored and treated”. The man tested positive for the virus Wednesday.
