National Assembly President Heng Samrin has refused to forward a letter from opposition lawmakers to the government on the issue of the demarcation of the Cambodia-Vietnam border. On March 30, four Sam Rainsy Party parliamentarians wrote a letter to Heng Samrin asking the government to delay border-demarcation work. “I have observed that the conversation between the SRP and the government on the Cambodia-Vietnam border issue has had no good results,” Heng Samrin wrote in his refusal.
