Nguon Nhel, first deputy president of the National Assembly, is to lead a delegation to attend the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) in Indonesia from Saturday to December 12. The meeting, which is to be attended by 39 member countries and 18 observer countries, will discuss the role of the parliamentary process in the development of democracy in Asia, a statement from the National Assembly said. Cambodia hosted a meeting of an APA sub-committee in Siem Reap in July.
