Asian energy ministers met July 13 in Siem Reap to discuss petroleum prices in the

region. Cambodia, where petrol taxes top 100 percent, is particularly effected by

high energy costs.

Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen called on the country to reduce its dependency on

oil and develop alternative fuel sources.
