Cambodia and Vietnam look set to join the International Pepper Community (IPC) when
the organization holds its annual conference in Indonesia in September this year,
the Vietnam News Service has reported. If accepted, Cambodia will join Brazil, India,
Indonesia, Malaysia and Sri Lanka.
With an annual yield of around 5,000 tonnes, Cambodia's pepper export industry could
be boosted by IPC plans to develop the country's post-harvest processing and product
testing capacities.
