Poipet man arrested for selling ketamine

A construction worker was put in pre-trial detention on Monday after he was arrested for possessing, consuming and trafficking drugs in Banteay Meanchey province’s Poipet town on Sunday.

Poipet town police chief Thin Sindet said Kit Bros, 35, from Poipet commune’s Kbal Spean I village, was arrested while consuming and distributing drugs near a pagoda.

Authorities found five small packs of Ketamine when he was arrested. Another 50 bottles of Ketamine were found in his rented room.

The suspect was sent to court on Monday and charged with “possessing, consuming and trafficking in drugs”.
