Ponleu Khmer, the human rights federation of Cambodian NGOs and associations, is
holding a workshop on national development from Feb. 2-4.
The forum will
discuss, exchange ideas and make concrete recommendations to the government
about the rehabilitation of the country.
Recommendations will also be
forwarded to the international community for consideration during the
International Conference on the Reconstruction of Cambodia (ICORC) to be held in
March.
Ponleu Khmer grew out of the Dhama Yietra, the walk for peace
held around the May elections. Its most active work was during the drafting of
the constitution.
