Preah Ang Duong Hospital (PADH) will provide consultation services and medical treatments to around 100 patients who have diseases of the eyes, ears, nose and throat from the Green Bethel Community of the capital’s Dangkor district.

The pledge was made by Nong Manith, deputy director of PADH, during a “social activity” event in Green Bethel Community on November 25, co-organized by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), PADH and the Cambodia-Korea Alumni Association (CAMKAA).

According to KOICA’s press statement, Nong Manith said this was the first time that PADH has worked with KOICA. He said he looked forward to working with KOICA on this kind of activity in the future.

For the social activity event, the soksabay team of KOICA volunteers and CAMKAA members carried out activities such as providing donations, face-painting for children, taking instant photos, playing with soap bubbles, repairing well pumps and painting murals on walls as well as fun games with children which contribute to promoting education and hygiene.

Rho Hyunjun, country director of KOICA Cambodia, spoke highly of the social activity event, saying that this initiative was due to the strong partnership and cooperation between KOICA Cambodia, PADH, CAMKAA, and the Green Bethel Community.

“KOICA will continuously support the government and the people of Cambodia to make this country a more beautiful and better place to live in,” he said.
