Rainsy helps ATR

Opposition Leader Sam Rainsy has agreed to act as a witness on behalf of the French

aircraft manufacturer ATR in its civil suit against Royal Air Cambodge (RAC). ATR,

a division of Airbus manufacturer Aerospatiale, is suing RAC for damages in excess

of $25 million for alleged breach of contract. Rainsy told the Post on May 10 that

his offer to act as a witness on behalf of the company was "happily accepted"

by company representatives during discussions in April.
