Royal Group Neak Oknha Kith Meng donated $3million to the Government for the purchasing of the Rapid COVID-19 Tests Kit

Phnom Penh, Cambodia – Since the vaccine roll-out, the Kingdom has vaccinated 3million; about 15.7% of its population. Currently, Cambodia is seeing 35,030 recoveries with 5,457 active cases and 380 fatalities; a number considered among the lowest in the region.

“The MOH implemented measures to quickly combat rising cases. It is important to track down the virus through Rapid COVID-19 Tests,” stated Neak Oknha Kith Meng.

“Since, today is an important day for us, as we celebrate our firstborn son’s – Sula’s birthday, we would like to take the opportunity to donate $3million dollars to Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia to purchase the Rapid COVID-19 Tests,” added Kith Meng.

The Rapid COVID-19 tests can quickly and affordably determine who is most infectious so they can be quarantined and treated. The rapid test enables swift decision-making in preventing the spread of the virus.

“As parents, Chamnan and I want a better future for our children, one that is free from this pandemic, so that they can live unhindered by fear of serious illness” added Kith Meng.
