One-third of sex workers in Cambodia are child prostitutes, said a UNICEF report on regional sexual exploitation. The report stated the problem had escalated as the sex industry becomes a major money spinner fueled by poverty, illiteracy, AIDS and drug abuse. The report, Children on The Edge, was released prior to the start of the 2nd World Congress against Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children held December 17-20 in Yokohama, Japan.
