Sihanouk set for sojourn in Vietnam

King Father Norodom Sihanouk will pay a visit to Vietnam sometime in June, Prince Sisowath Thomico, a royal adviser, said Tuesday. Sisowath Thomico said that Sihanouk, who has just returned from China, where he has spent much time in recent years receiving medical treatment, would visit Vietnam after receiving an invitation from Vietnamese President Nguyen Minh Triet on February 1. “The invitation of the King Father to visit Vietnam is intended to strengthen the friendship and cooperation between Cambodia and Vietnam,” he said.
