The Ministry of Civil Service on Thursday issued a notice that 222 new staff members are needed in six ministries and institutions.

In a Facebook post, it said the ministries of National Assembly-Senate Relations and Inspection; Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries; Commerce; Water Resources and Meteorology, and the State Secretariat of Civil Aviation (SSCA) will recruit the employees for ministerial and provincial levels across the Kingdom.

Of the 222 vacancies, eight are from the Ministry of Civil Service, five for the Ministry of National Assembly-Senate Relations and Inspection, 36 for the Ministry of Commerce, 28 for the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology and 12 for the SSCA.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries will fill the remainder.

The post said those who were interested should apply soon to sit for an examination during working hours, before April 9.

Candidates who apply to sit for the examination at the ministries and the SSCA have to obtain application forms at the Department of Management Framework at the Ministry of Civil Service.

However, those who apply to sit for the examination at the Ministry of Commerce have to get the forms and submit them at the Staff Department at the Ministry of Commerce.

And those who apply to sit for the examination at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries have to get the form and submit it at the Staff and Human Resource Department of the ministry itself.

None of the spokespersons for the six ministries could be reached for comment on Thursday.
