A UNIVERSITY student was sentenced yesterday to two and a half years in jail for raping a minor. Pao Vao, aged 26, was found at Phnom Penh Municipal court yesterday following his arrest in the capital’s Dangkor district in February. He claimed at trial earlier this month the 13-year-old teenager was his girlfriend and they had not had sex.
