Two men charged with raping woman in Poipet

BANTEAY Meanchey provincial court has charged two men with the rape of a 28-year-old woman from Poipet. Kong Kuoy, deputy director of the court, said yesterday that Oul Nget, 24, and Khout Vouthy, 18, both from Poipet, were detained and charged on Saturday. Provincial police chief Hun Hean said the woman had gone to a club with a friend but walked home alone. Five drunk men then attacked her, and two managed to rape her before a casino security guard called the police, Hun Hean said. The three other suspects remain at large.
