The Health Ministry said on Wednesday two more Covid-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospital.

In the meantime, no new cases have been recorded since Tuesday, keeping the tally of such infections to 109.

The two that recovered were a 30-year-old Muslim man from Kampot province who who contracted the disease at a religious gathering in Malaysia, and a Malaysian man, 61.

Both were certified as having recovered after their two latest tests confirmed they were negative for the disease.

They were allowed to leave the Kep provincial hospital, a ministry statement stated.

A total of 25 patients have been healed as of Wednesday, while 84 others including 28 women and 56 men are still under treatment.

From January to March 31, 5,768 suspected cases have been tested for coronavirus across the Kingdom.
