United States Special Advisor for Children’s Issues Susan Jacobs will arrive in the region today to discuss the proposed resumption of inter-country adoption with Cambodia and Vietnam. Jacobs is expected to meet with government officials and non-governmental adoption organisations. The US government suspended adoptions form Cambodia in 2001.
