From my point of view, for the people of Cambodia, after my observation of the social

structure, economic condition and the status of Kampuchean people, in the question

of peace the people should have to know what is peace!

On this point I would like to say that it could be understand them from their lesson

of spiritual theme of their religion. Because most of the people of this country

are pious and innocent-and that's why it is necessary to take the program to mobilize

the nation in the spirit of Lord Buddha!

The main theme of Lord Buddha is peace. It can start by taking the programs of mass

mobilization in point of the spiritual means of Buddha by the way of rallies, nationwide

symposiums or seminar, publications of spiritual themes, leaflets and books etc.

Human beings in fear of the situation they have themselves created want to find a

way and seek some kind of solution.

But there is none except that held out by the Buddha in his message of non-violence

and peace, of love and compassion, of tolerance and understanding, of truth and wisdom,

of respect and regard for all life, of freedom from selfishness, hatred, and violence.

The Buddha said, "Never by hatred is hatred appeased, but it is appeased by

kindness! This is an external truth! One should win anger through kindness, wickedness

through goodness, selfishness through charity, and falsehood through truthfulness."

So, to talk of maintaining peace through the balance of power of trying to make an

arrangement is not the actual process to discover peace.

It is the better way to think for peace in Cambodia in the light of thinking of Buddha.

In the question of peace and prosperity of Cambodian people, it is necessary, and

the authority of peace committee should understand the realistic position to overcome

the goal of peace in Cambodia. As a result of this, the people could understand their

human rights, democratic rights, and also they can think about their shaky economic

condition. When the people can understand, they have life and death here, then they

will be united for their democratic rights avoiding all sorts of collisions. So,

it is necessary to teach the people of Kampuchea to learn about at least the main

thinking of Buddha. This is not a talk of future. This is a talk of the present position

to overcome the transitional period of Kampuchea. Don't think all the times "Man

proposes, God disposes".

Each and every religion of this world came time to time for the good social condition,

peace and economic guidelines. We know very well this creation of the plants is for

the living of human being simultaneously with the other creation.

In conclusion, I would like to say that, in Cambodia, the United Nations and so many

NGOs are helping the Cambodia peoples for their peace and propriety by taking the

major activities - and if they also utilize their sources to implement that by the

side their mandatory program, it will be easier to solve the present situation and

in near future the people of this country will remember and honor them for their

rescue.
