The results of an Asian water bird census show that 91 species were identified in the Boeung Prek Lapouv Protected Landscape Area in Takeo province, while 34 were recorded in the Anlung Pring Protected Landscape Area of Kampot province.

In the third week of January, NatureLife Cambodia worked with rangers from the Boeung Prek Lapouv Protected Landscape Area to conduct the census.

“Each species of bird was recorded, with 91 recorded in the Boeung Prek Lapouv Protected Landscape Area and 43 in the Anlung Pring Protected Landscape Area,” said NatureLife in a social media post.
