Woman found dead in Kampong Speu field

A 25-YEAR-OLD woman found dead in a field in Kampong Speu’s Odong district on Sunday night was most likely raped before she was killed, police said yesterday.  The victim’s name was Chin Srey Mich, a factory worker in Kampong Speu, said Ping Pov deputy police chief of Odong district. Her husband found her dead and naked in the field after she had been missing for nearly 24 hours. “Expert officials are still examining the body and suspect that she was raped and killed,” Ping Pov said. “Police are still investigating and looking for suspects – their conclusions are not clear yet.”
