A 27-YEAR-OLD Vietnamese man was jailed for one year yesterday after being found guilty of distributing drugs in Phnom Penh. Nguyen Ly was arrested in the capital’s Sen Sok district on April 22 and five packets of drugs containing a total of 70 yama pills were seized. Phnom Penh Municipal Court judge Te Sam Ang also fined him one million riel (about US$250) yesterday. Nguyen Ly claimed that he had only been carrying a few pills and the rest were planted on him.
