Again, moto jacking ends in street justice

An alleged would-be motorbike thief received some typical Cambodian street justice when he tried to steal a woman’s vehicle in Kandal province’s Muk Kampoul district on Friday.

A 31-year-old woman left her moto outside while visiting a neighbour, police said. Two men approached on another bike, with one leaping onto the woman’s.

As the suspect started the victim’s bike, the woman saw and shouted for help. A crowd of people beat the would-be thief unconscious as his friend drove away. DEUM AMPIL
