A 32-year-old mute man was arrested and charged on Monday for allegedly stealing a car in Preah Sihanouk town.

Police said the victim parked his car in front of his home when the mute suspect jumped in the vehicle and attempted to escape.

The victim caught the robber in the act, and the panicking thief crashed into a nearby motodop, injuring the bystander’s hip and partially destroying the moto and car.
