Attempted thieves go footloose on clubbers

It was lady’s night, but the feeling was definitely not alright in the capital’s Tuol Kork district on Tuesday.

Police say two women were heading home after cutting loose at a club when two would-be highwaymen pulled alongside and demanded their bike.

Refusing, a high-speed chase ensued, with the moto thieves ultimately pulling a pistol and shooting not one, but both of the women in the feet. Police arrived as the scene unfolded but were unable to catch the two goons, who sped into the night. Deum Ampil
