Police said a farming couple had just finished a day’s work when confronted by armed robbers on Sunday in Poipet.

Clutching a knife, one of them demanded the couple’s money and jewellery. The husband initially tried to resist, before his wife told him it wasn’t worth it.

The two men escaped despite the farmers’ cries for help, but police say they recognised the duo’s modus operandi and believe they will be caught. Koh Santepheap
