Bag-snatcher leaps from bridge to escape

A couple's scenic motorbike ride on Phnom Penh’s Preah Monivong Bridge was ruined by wily bag-snatchers on Sunday night.

Police say the woman, 23, and man, 37, were riding a motorbike when two assailants kicked them off their bike.

One of the two ran off with the lady’s bag containing an iPhone and $200.

The accomplice decided to make his escape unconventionally, leaving his moto behind and jumping off the bridge.
