Bag snatcher no friend of Kandal authorities

A youth who works for a local NGO was most uncharitable when he snatched a bag from a woman on a moto on Saturday.

The 23-year-old took off with the 26-year-old woman’s bag in Prek Thmey commune, in Kandal’s Kien Svaydistrict.

As the victim called for help, a driver swerved in on the action, causing the delinquent to topple into the hands of bystanders.

The police returned the bag – including $300 cash – to the relieved woman.
