Bag snatcher snatched by vigilant pedestrians

A 20-year-old was arrested on Saturday for bag snatching in the capital’s Daun Penh district.

His victim, a 37-year-old woman, was strolling with a friend when she picked up an unwanted tail: the perp and his accomplice.

After having her bag snatched, the woman’s cries for help were answered by passers-by, who prevented the escape of one of the snatchers.

The accomplice fled, abandoning his fellow felon and the woman’s bag, but keeping her phone.
