Bag snatchers brought undone by bad driving

The arm of the law proved long enough to catch up with one of three bag-snatchers near a market in the capital’s Chamkarmon district yesterday.

The delinquents had snatched a bag from a couple on a motorbike, causing them to fall, but the trio quickly received their just deserts when they collided with a motorbike just 20 metres ahead.

Still, two of the crooks managed to abscond from the scene, while one was fortunately obstructed by bystanders and apprehended by the police.
