Two decidedly uncool drunks in Meachey district found themselves in hot water after failing to disguise their police patrol-induced panic on Monday evening.

Police, who spotted the duo abandoning a moto and conspicuously fleeing their presence on foot, set off in hot pursuit.

After the pissed-up pair was apprehended, the men claimed the reason they’d been so eager to scarper was because neither had been wearing a helmet and feared a fine.
