An elaborate ruse to win the attention of her husband has landed a woman in jail in Kandal province’s Khsach Kandal district, after she called cops in to falsely claim $2,000 had gone missing from her home while she was there.

The woman reportedly told the lie in an attempt to make her husband spend more time with her, after she became frustrated at him constantly boozing – and sleeping elsewhere.

But while being grilled, the woman finally told the truth to police, who are seeking the husband for questioning. NOKORWAT
