It was love – and motorbike – lost for a woman in Phnom Penh’s Sen Sok district when her new beau skedaddled after emptying her purse.

The victim claims their relationship started with phone messages and led to them staying together for a week before he split with her scooter and the cash in her bag.

Reporting to the police station on Tuesday, the lovelorn lass handed over a picture she had taken with the sweetheart scam artist.
