Four thieves abducted a buffalo each from a Ratanakkiri farmer late on Saturday night.

When the hapless herder awoke to find his livestock livelihood missing, he appealed to local cops, who made quick work of their investigation.

That same day, they arrested the perpetrators, but unfortunately were only able to recover one of the four burgled buffaloes.

The other three had already been slaughtered in preparation to sell the meat.
