Burglar betrayed by bulging bag of loot

A burglar in the capital’s Sen Sok district walked into a business on Tuesday afternoon carrying a bag and attempted to leave through the front door with it stuffed full of construction equipment.

A keen-eyed security guard’s suspicion was aroused by the 34-year-old man’s bulging bag and he asked to take a look inside.

Inspection revealed a torch, an electric drill and assorted cables. Thief and loot were sent immediately to the police.
