Bystanders round up pair of purse snatchers

A mother-daughter outing took a disastrous turn but was saved when capital bystanders took down two bag snatchers.

Driving on Sunday in Chamkarmon district, the two women were followed by a duo that swerved close and came away with a handbag.

The unlucky ladies wiped out but fellow riders witnessed the chaos and corralled the thieves, handing them over to police and the satchel back to its owner.
