Cheeky capital drunk gets shot in buttock

A bunch of buds having drinks resulted in a bullet wound to the buttocks in Phnom Penh’s Meanchey district on Saturday night. The victim, 21, was loitering outside of a auto repair shop with his pals when they decided – for reasons yet unknown – to engage some passing motorcyclists in a fight, going so far to throw stones at them.

One motorist offered a decidedly disproportionate response, firing two shots into the ground, one of which ricocheted into the victim’s buttock. The victim is now in hospital while the shooter fled.
