Christmas thieves get only coal in stockings

Three men who allegedly tried to waltz out of a Sihanoukville guesthouse with an armload of stolen property on Monday weren’t quite as smooth as they thought.

Police said the men had gone into the guesthouse pretending to be staying there, and promptly began searching for things to steal.

Finding an unlocked room, they grabbed a tourist’s laptop, cash and clothes and attempted to walk back out.

Management caught on to the ruse, however, and after a brief chase, police caught them all and sent them to court. Koh Santepheap
