A not-so-smooth getaway proved to be the undoing of a fence-hopping housekeeper on Wednesday.

The Svay Rieng native hated her job in Kandal and pretended to be sick so she could borrow money from her employer for a doctor.

Instead of getting a check-up, however, the woman jumped over the back fence with the cash while the family slept early on Wednesday morning, but was spotted by her boss, who called police. KOH SANTEPHEAP
